Caruso’s Cafe is dedicated to sustainability and promoting environmentally friendly practices.
We source as many local products as possible, work hand in hand with local farmers in composting, recycling, and support local growers. We are committed to providing you with a nourishing, healthy meal while doing our part to make as little impact on the Earth as possible.
Composting Scraps
We compost our coffee grinds to be repurposed at a local farm: Schenk Homestead Farm. Schenk Homestead Farm makes an appearance at the Naples Farm Market every Wednesday located at North Main Street in Naples. Their homegrown delicious food makes an appearance right here at Caruso’s Cafe every day! Supporting local farms, organically grown food, and knowing we are serving you such goodness makes our heart happy here at Caruso’s Cafe!
Locally Sourced Food
We will provide locally sourced food when possible! Who we source from:
Naples, NY: Plenty the Bakery, Wohlschlegels Maple Farm, Woodstead Local Hot Anything & Everything Sauce, Komorebi Shoppe, Flint & Steel Farms, Schenk Homestead Farm, Art of the Sun Organic Farm, & Swingle Honey
Finger Lakes Roasters: Farmington, N.Y.
The Finger Lakes Coffee Roasters, which sources their coffee from the best Organic/Fair Trade Certified coffees from all over the globe.
No Plastic or Styrofoam
All our coffee cups, smoothie cups, yogurt & Soup bowls and to-go containers are made from Eco-friendly materials that are safe for the environment. The lids (which look plastic) are also 100% biodegradable! Even the silverware can go in the compost. How cool is that! So, in essence each time you grab a cup of Finger Lakes Fair Trade Organic Coffee at Caruso’s Cafe you are in deed doing your part to help, not hinder the earth. That, my friend, is awesome.
